LISA is scaleable in many ways
- it is modular in design, that is different functions are
grouped into different modules,
- it is based on technology that is ready to serve a large
organization, but the main system can run on a single stand
alone PC as well,
- the framework that is provided by LISA can be tailored to
customer needs by setting system parameters and providing primary
data,
- at several points LISA has user definable rule based behavior,
- extendable, user definable calculation engines are to aid
the analysis of raw data and to automate the process of obtaining
final results,
- interfaces to test and calibration equipment open the way
for automated functions
